YAMAHA WXA‑70A & WXC‑70A (NEWS)

Yamaha has announced the WXA-70A streaming amplifier and WXC-70A streaming pre-amplifier, two compact components designed for music and TV use

Both include an ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M DAC, ASRC clock reconstruction and Yamaha’s YPAO room-correction system.

Connections include HDMI eARC/ARC, while streaming support covers MusicCast, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect and Roon.

The WXA-70A adds Class D amplification for passive loudspeakers; the WXC-70A is intended for use with an existing hi-fi system.

Other features include OLED displays, remote control, Dialogue Level adjustment, Control4 compatibility, IR input and 12V trigger support for custom installation and home automation.
