SIGNATURE LINE S750 FROM GRADO

Grado has announced the launch of its third Signature headphones model

At the heart of the S750 lies the new S2 50mm driver. Featuring a carbon fibre and paper composite diaphragm, paired with a lightweight copper-plated aluminium voice coil.

The housing of the S750 is a hand-crafted, all-aluminium construction. Weighing 460g, making it over 10% lighter than its sister Signature design, the HP100 SE, the S750s include new Grado B cushions.

The B cushions shorten the distance between the driver and the ear and introduce a smaller interior opening to adjust balance. The flat surface distributes pressure more evenly across the ear, apparently. 

Supplied with a detachable 6-foot cable terminated in a 6.35mm single-ended plug, future alternatives will include a variety of lengths, as well as balanced terminations such as 4-pin XLR and 4.4mm.

Though slightly narrower, the leather headband retains 50% more padding than earlier Grado models. Price is £1,695/$1,695
