An upgraded successor to the S880DB, the S880DB MKII features an upgraded driver system
The tweeter has been enhanced with a 38mm-inch titanium dome—up from 25mm—and now includes a larger 25mm voice coil and neodymium magnets. Complementing this is a redesigned 95mm mid-bass driver.
At the heart of the S880DB MKII is a Texas Instruments chip set plus a XMOS XU216 USB controller. The included DAC supports 24bit/96kHz. Bluetooth 5.3 is supported along with the excellent LDAC codec.
A Sub output port is included as is the newly designed rechargeable 2.4GHz remote control which complements the onboard speaker interface which also handles the integrated OLED display with auto-dimming. If you prefer an app, then the EDIFIER ConneX app is supported.
