RI71 & RI91 FROM FLUANCE

Canadian outfit, Fluance has released both the Ri71 Reference Stereo Powered Bookshelf Speakers and the Ri91 Reference Stereo Powered Tower Speakers
The Ri71 bookshelf speakers span 310 x 185 x 199mm, feature a Class D 120W amplifier within, placing an AMT tweeter above and below? Why, a 127mm woven glass fibre mid/bass driver of course.
Working with a digital signal processor supporting up to 24bit/192kHz and sitting inside an internal braced cabinet, that box includes a letter-box, front-firing port.
The Ri91 floorstanding speakers span 106 x 216 x 260mm, also include a AMT tweeter plus dual 165mm woven glass fibre drivers. The DSP is powered by an integrated 150W amplifier.
Both speaker types include Bluetooth that supports the aptX HD codec. HDMI ARC ports are available on both for AV use, RCA ports are on the back too plus a subwoofer output. Tone controls can be tweaked via the included remote.
Prices? I just have dollar prices at the moment. The Ri71 Reference Stereo Powered Bookshelf speakers retail at $499.99 while the Ri91 Reference Stereo Powered Tower Speakers are priced at $799.99. Of course, a penny more? You wouldn’t even consider them, would you? All are available now in a choice of Black Ash, White Ash and Walnut finishes.
