A large part of the difference in price of the Spendor A1 vs the Concept 30s is a result of the cabinet being wood veneered and both it and the drivers being made in the UK vs China ( as far as I can see from the picture). So the amount availabe to pay for better components is not as great as some migjht think. For someone like me who will not buy Chinese manufactured goods for human rights reasons the fact that the A1s not only have better sound but are made in the UK would be the deciding factor.
