K400 SPEAKERS FROM KERR ACOUSTIC

The new K400 is a two-way stand-mount which can also be wall/ceiling mounted

It takes many of the same ingredients and design philosophy from the K300. The K400 uses a 24mm Baltic Birch plywood (BBP) baffle with 18mm BBP sides, top and bottom and 12mm internal bracing.

A 150mm Scanspeak mid-bass unit is paired with a 45mm true ribbon tweeter. And it;s always nice to see a real ribbon in play.

Transmission line loading is also used in an attempt to further control and extend bass.

With an 88db sensitivity, these 6 Ohm speakers span 341 x 164 x 310mm and weigh 7.5kg per speaker.
