EVERSOLO A8 GEN 2 ARRIVES IN THE UK (NEWS)

Eversolo’s DMP-A8 Gen 2 and DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 are available in the UK, priced at £1,949 and £2,489 respectively

Both combine a network streamer, high-resolution DAC and preamplifier, allowing connection to a power amplifier or active speakers. Qobuz Connect, TIDAL Connect, Spotify Connect and DLNA are supported, alongside NAS playback and optional SSD storage up to 8TB.

Conversion is handled by AKM AK4191EQ and AK4499EX chips, supporting PCM to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512. Features include an 8.6in touchscreen, HDMI ARC/eARC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, balanced outputs, a subwoofer connection and evotune Pro room correction.

The Master version adds a top-loading CD player, OCXO-based clocking and a 10MHz clock input. Both use eight-core processing hardware with 8GB of memory for day-to-day operation.
