COMPACT PHONO FROM CLEARAUDIO (NEWS)

Clearaudio has launched the Compact Phono, a small MM/MC phono stage measuring just 80 × 115 × 26mm

A front button switches between moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges, with 40dB and 60dB gain options respectively.

Its Active Feedback Topology uses low-noise operational amplifiers, while 16Hz subsonic and 70kHz ultrasonic filters tackle rumble and cartridge resonances. MC loading is set at 100Ω/100pF. A four-layer PCB and low-resonance metal enclosure support low-noise operation.

Consuming just 0.7W, it is available now in black or silver for £490/€490/$639.
