NAD has announced the launch of the NAD C589 CD Player
At the heart of the C589 is QRONO d2a, a digital audio technology developed by MQA Labs that, according to the company, improves “…digital timing and reconstruction accuracy.” Apparently enhancing spatial detail, transient accuracy and musical flow.
The company talks up its disc loader and transport mechanism and laser pick-up which, it says, offers accurate disc tracking and stable playback.
Balanced XLR and RCA analogue outputs sit alongside AES/EBU, coaxial and optical digital outputs. CD Text is supported.
A remote is also included.
Prices are €1,599 and £1,199.
