SONIK SPEAKERS FROM DALI

Danish speaker outfit, Dali has announced the new Sonik range of speakers

With seven models, the range includes a 29mm soft dome tweeter offering wide dispersion and supported by a newly developed aluminium faceplate. You’ll find a Hybrid Tweeter System in the Sonik 7 and Sonik 9, however. This is a 29mm dome tweeter with a 17 × 45 mm planar magnetostatic tweeter.

Bass and midrange drivers are available in 133mm and 178mm variants, featuring Dali’s Clarity Cone membrane structure crafted from paper and wood fibre.

Another included feature is the so-called SMC Essential Magnet System. This patented architecture technology, originating from the Epicon series, targets third-order harmonic distortion.

Dual-flare bass-reflex ports are included to optimise timing, low turbulence and clean low-frequency extension.

Also included are custom-designed magnetic grills, new in-house-developed terminals, updated logo badges and baffles, aluminium spike out-riggers (on floor-standing models), CNC-machined MDF cabinets and four finishes namely: black ash, walnut, natural oak and white. Phew!

Sonik will release globally on 2 February 2026.
