Hi Paul, I would love to know your opinion on the Secret Chord Analogue Record Restore Vinyl Cleaning Box Set. I’m very curious as the lady who reviews this on YouTube actually prefers this to the Humming Guru she has. I must add that her husband loves using both. The lady comments that the Secret Chord Analogue Record Restore Vinyl Cleaning Box Set is better than the Humming Guru in actually gaining a quieter playing record. This is high praise indeed! I’ve recently purchased the Degritter Mark 2 which is a truly wonderful machine especially at revealing sonic improvements! However, even when using your manual cleaning method of tergitol, glycol and distilled water with a kabuki brush ( yes I’m a big fan of your cleaning methods) before inserting the record into the Degritter 2, even this machine could do a lot more in gaining a quieter record. Yes Paul, I’m talking about “undamaged” records to the groove wall etc! In the Degritter tank, I’m using your mix of distilled water and alcohol as per your cleaning guide followed by a full rinse in distilled water in tank 2. Hope you can get back to me asap please Paul……….I know your a very busy man!! lol
