The base dCS system includes the likes of a Differential Ring DAC, the Tomix – a patented new clocking technology, ACTUS – a bespoke interface that carries audio, control and timing signals and the Mosaic ACTUS music management and control app

Designed, engineered and built in Cambridge, England, the new dCS Varèse Transport is now available to order in a choice of silver or black.

It also supports the ACTUS interface, offers low-vibration performance according to the company, automatically syncs to a master clock signal while the chassis is machined from a single piece of billet aluminium.

The Transport utilises the same mechanism seen in the Vivaldi Transport II and Rossini Transport but the new model has been reportedly mounted with a new method that further reduces noise and physical vibrations. Price is £35,000.
