POW Audio has announced the first two of three products in its Una line, a suite of Bluetooth speakers. The Una and Una X are both ideal for listening at home, on the beach and by the pool
Una and Una X will utilise WaveBloom technology, which transforms the speaker into an expandable, air-filled chamber to apparently improve sound quality. Both collapse for portability.
Purchase of Una includes an adjustable travel strap that can attach to most backpacks. Additionally, Una, which is sink-proof when expanded, comes with a Lily Float that attaches to the unit and stabilizes the speaker on water such that the speaker grill is facing upward for listening.
Una X is small enough to fit in a backpack and has an omnidirectional speaker driver, which allows sound to travel from all sides of the speaker.
Una charges via a USB-C charging cord and delivers 14 hours of runtime on a full two-hour charge. Una X charges via a USB-C charging cord and features 16 hours of playing time. Una X also includes a microphone.
The Una spans 163 x 173 x 102mm (expanded) while the Una X spans 203 x 199 x 102mm (expanded).
Una retails for €109 and Una X for €149. Both models will be available for purchase at Amazon, www.powaudio.com and at select retailers in the US, UK and Canada later this autumn.
