TINA ALL-IN-ONE FROM…PHILIPS
26th September 2025

OK here’s the thing. Here’s an all-in-one record player called Tina. And we’ll get to know our Tina a bit better in just one moment. Isn’t that right, Tina?
For now, though, that brand name. The brand name on the front is Philips. From what I understand though, Philips – the tech company, Philips you and I know from yore – no longer directly makes most of its consumer audio products in house. Instead, Philips licenses the Philips and Philips Audio brand names to other companies. For example, TP Vision as you can see here. So, Tina by TP Vision then. Not really Philips.

And yes, the broad-based, TP Vision announcement, aimed at the press, listed a host of record players but Tina was arguably the best of the bunch.
Tina is an all-in-one integrated turntable including a turntable, DAB+/FM tuner, USB audio and Bluetooth streaming. It apparently offers 120W RMS into a 2.1 configuration featuring two 25mm tweeters, two 64mm mid-range drivers and a dedicated 114mm subwoofer.

The turntable part runs off a belt, pushing a diecast platter, extruded aluminium straight arm and Audio Technica MM cartridge (a 3600 or variant thereof?)
Apparently there’s some anti-vibration tech in there too.

The Philips Entertainment App allows The Tina to also stream music via Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast streaming software and compatibility with both the SBC and LC3 codecs. I’ve never heard of/used LC3 but apparently that should be replacing SBC soon so I’m guessing the sound quality from LC3 is of a similar (ish) quality. The App also offers tone controls.
You can add external Bluetooth speakers to this unit if you wish. A full-size 6.3mm headphone socket is included too, connected to an internal head amp. Price is €450/£400.
