TECHNICS: THE FINAL CURTAIN

The final version of the SL-1200G/1210G series has been transformed into a Master Edition. This limited version features a special gold design and is available worldwide in Silver: 1,200 units / Black: 1,210 units
The new turntables with an upgraded direct drive system, linked to the company’s Delta Sigma Drive motor control technology.

The iron-coreless motors have been improved too with a reinforced stator board further reducing vibration.

A four-layered plinth features aluminium and a ‘Bulk Moulding Compound’, alongside a 10mm aluminium top plate and a rubber-coated base. It includes a gold-painted embossed logo and a serial number plate indicating this limited edition model.

An included S-shaped magnesium tonearm is finished in gold paint while the headshell and top panel feature a golden Technics logo.

Available from January 2026, price will be £5,000.
If I was going to spend $5000 on a turntable (which I did) there is no way I would buy a Technics
