Steinway Lyngdorf has announced a software update for all of its multichannel home theatre processors
The first software update adds Qobuz Connect.
The second? A software update also adds Pure Audio Streaming a lossless, uncompressed standard.
Steinway Lyngdorf will apparently be the first manufacturer to integrate Pure Audio Streaming directly via AC Connect in its multichannel processors. Open the Pure Audio app, choose a song, playlist or album and stream directly over the multichannel processor.
The update also adds automatic lip-sync to the Lyngdorf MP-40 2.1 and Steinway & Sons P100 2.1 processors.
Which compensates for incorrect timing between audio and video, and syncs it with feedback from the TV, projector or video processor through HDMI eARC.
