In this report, Rega’s Ashton Wagner (Design Engineer) talks about his new downforce gauge. A (so far) indestructible, easy to use and rather robust gadget that is aimed at life-time use. Note the curved bit? It helps to position the gauge correctly and prevents the possibility of variable readings due to position changes. The curve follows the curve of the platter.
