R810 MIE RADIOGRAM FROM RUARK 

As part of the company’s 40^th Anniversary celebration, Ruark has launched a limited version of their R810 radiogram, the new R810 MiE (i.e. Made in England)

It features cabinet and grille components crafted exclusively by Storm Furniture, an artisan maker and member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, no less! Hence the two finishes: Penta-Chord Walnut and Leaf-Line Oak. 

Only 50 pieces of each finish will ever be produced, each bearing an engraved wooden plaque on the rear panel as proof of authenticity.

Selected veneers are cut and arranged before being bonded to the R810 cabinet. Once cured, multiple layers of lacquer are applied, with hand-sanding between coats.

The UK retail price for R810 MiE is £6,495, available exclusively through select retail partners to be announced.

As a feature reminder, the unit supports Apple AirPlay and Google Cast Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and Qobuz Connect built-in, Apple Music, BBC Sounds, Deezer and more. Hi-Res music file support is up to 32bit/192kHz PCM, Internet/DAB/DAB+ and FM tuners are included, there’s a HDMI ARC/eARC connection, Bluetooth headphone support, you get a turntable input too.

Spanning 660 x 1000 x 435mm, it includes a polished chrome stand.
