The all-in-one system is now being issued as a special Signature Edition
Special Edition, you say? And how’s that then?
Just take a gander at the images and that Piano Lacquer finish stands right out. As does the machined alloy Rose Gold detailing.
I must say, if the images are anything to go by, it does look rather attractive. It certainly contrasts with the original finish. You can see that in my review.
Someone’s been fiddling around inside too. There’s been a bit of tuning going on inside the chassis creating, so the company says, “…a cleaner soundstage with greater depth and realism. The end result is Ruark’s STEREO+ feature.”
So you still have the same amplifier system and drivers but you do get a revised routing of “key signal paths” and the use of “high purity oxygen-free speaker cables”.
It still provides options for streaming, Wi-Fi streaming with Spotify and support for Tidal, Deezer and Amazon Music, DAB and FM radio, a CD player, USB charge/playback, phono socket for a turntable plus a span of 142 x 520 x 300mm.
It weighs in at 9.5kg. That’s the same weight as the earlier model so the weight hasn’t moved or hardly moved, put it that way.
Price is £1,250.
