The speakers feature a neodymium magnet system coupled with a lightweight cone/coil assembly and long-throw subwoofer.
The enclosure has been partitioned and damped while the company’s signature RotoDial controller makes another appearance.
A remote is included too.
The unit can be controlled using Ruark’s LINK app for iOS and Android devices.
Features include Wi-Fi streaming, a multi-format CD player, aptX HD Bluetooth, DAB/FM and Internet radio, USB playback/charge port, analogue and digital inputs including a phono connection for turntables.
The R5 is available in Walnut or grey lacquer and will be from Spring 2019 through Ruark’s select dealer network, including John Lewis, Selfridges and others.
