This report from the National Audio Show 2016, sees Paul Rigby talking to owner/designer Peter Laitt from Planalogue about his new and first turntable, the Prelude. The plinth and motor sit on a controlled platform

The lower plinth is not solid and is made of acrylic and birch ply sandwich construction.

The AC motor has a vibration damping pod inside

The plinth is also of a sandwich form, featuring a ‘pattern’ to remove noise.
