M6 Pro DAP From Shanling

Last year the company released its first Android DAP, the M6. Now the company has developed and announced an upgraded version, the M6 Pro

Upgraded how? Well the M6 features a dual AK4495EQ DAC while the M6 Pro has a dual AK4497EQ DAC. According to the company, the new DAC supports, “…cleaner decoding with more detail retrieval…”

The M6 is equipped with OPA 1612 Low pass filters while the M6 Pro version arrives OPA 1622 Low pass filters. The circuit includes “premium-grade” four low pass filters.

The upshot is, according to the company, “…more detailed and lively sound…”

Other highlights include PCM decoding up to 32Bit/768kHz plus native DSD256, a Snapdragon 430 Processor, 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM.

You get three output ports: 2.5mm Balanced, 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended. With a three-mode hardware gain switch: Low Gain, High Gain and Ultra High Gain Mode.

The 720P display is accompanied by two-way Bluetooth 4.2 with hi-res support and battery life of up to 13 hours (Single Ended Single-DAC Mode), up to nine hours (Single Ended Dual-DAC Mode) and up to eight hours (Balanced Mode Dual DAC).

You’ll also find dual-band Wi-Fi support, memory card support up to 512GB and a 4000mAh Battery which supports QC3.9 quick charging.
