LUMIN U2X TRANSPORT IN UK

UK distributor, Sound Design Distribution, is now handling LUMIN’s U2X Network Transport to the UK

Building on the U1X, the U2X includes Lumin’s System-on-Chip (SoC) processor, adding processing power. File support is handled up to 32bit/768kHz and DSD512 from streaming sources such as Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Tidal Connect, Qobuz, Qobuz Connect, KKBOX, TuneIn and AirPlay.

A 10MHz clock is used for inputs and outputs allowing the U2X to act as a master or slave to synchronize with external devices. A dedicated and isolated USB port is available to separate the DAC and system from the network, while a low-noise external power supply enhances sound.

Outputs include USB, SPDIF, AES/EBU and TOSLINK, as well as access to music libraries and playlists via the updated LUMIN app. The U2X is also Audirvana and Roon Ready certified.

Available in natural or black anodised aluminium from August 2025 for £8,995.
