JT7 PLANAR HEADPHONES FROM FiiO

The JT7 is lightweight and foldable, uses a 95 × 86mm planar driver and a push-pull magnetic architecture with two-way high-density magnets

Placed within its own subsidiary brand, Jade Audio, FiiO has been rather busy (no change there) by releasing both the JT7 and JT3 headphones, this month. I’ll talk about the JT7 here but you can learn more about its sister release, the JT3, within Sunday’s YouTube video on my channel.

FES (FiiO Elastic System) – because all Asiatic corporations just love an acronym – is also included within the JT7. And that is? Well, it’s an embossed structural design on the diaphragm that apparently enhances low-frequency dynamics.

Weighing 318g, you get a detachable 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced Pentacon (see image below) on the JT7 plus replaceable ear pads and a removable Velcro headband cushion.

Velcro…where would HiFi and strippers be without it, eh?
