As part of its ongoing 30th-anniversary celebrations this year, Chord Electronics has unveiled Huei, a new phono amplifier including a memory function
With multiple options for impedance-matching, seven-stage switchable gain and a switchable rumble filter, the Huei design is made from a solid piece of aircraft-grade aluminium.
It also offers a top-mounted viewing window into the illuminated electronics within. The illuminated front-panel spheres offer direct access to Huei’s gain and impedance settings, selection for MM/MC cartridges and access to the on-board rumble filter.
Spanning 160 x 43 x 72mm, it weighs in at 770g. Price will be £990 and it’ll be available in black and in late summer.
