Is that your comment about Schizophrenia or part of the publicity from Violectric? Either way I am somewhat surprised/disgusted that you would use such a form of words about Schizophrenia in jest. If you had the slightest inkling of what schizophrenia is or of how it destroys the lives of those who have it – and others around them – you would not use such tired old insults.
And there it is. Hi Nigel. Firstly? It’s a parody of a famous Ian Hunter LP released in 1979 and released afresh just a month or two ago. I also covered that reissue in a Music Alerts! video without comment, I might add. So…there’s that. Also, in the actual video, which I am sure you have seen, I talk about this piece of hardware in figurative terms using the term. The Oxford English Dictionary describes the mental illness but also recognises the word’s use in language terms as: “figurative and in extended use. Having or characterized by inconsistent or contradictory elements.” And this headphone amp is certainly that. And I address that element in detail. As you know. There are many words in the English language that can be defined in more than one way and applied to varying situations. This is one of those.
