Origin Live has announced the launch of the Gravity Two, a complete ground-up redesign of the older Gravity One record puck
Compatible with all turntables, the Gravity Two has apparently completely replaced the Gravity One. By that I hear that the Gravity One will be pulled from the market and the Gravity Two will take its place.
Origin Live is being characteristically cagey with the design secrets of the Two although a couple of details have emerged including the damping achieved with the “anti-resonant polymer”. The company also made a point to say that this material is not Delrin. That case moulding certainly does look different from the original design.
Inside? Well we know that the design uses layers of wood, composites, and polymers but that’s about it.
Available now, the product comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Price is £230. Will I be reviewing it? Well, I did like the One (see that review here) so I expect I will be getting around to the Two in good time, yes.

Is it my imagination that it is getting expensive to play records? Hexmat have produced a new turntable mat with a revised Molekular clamp for around £400-£500!
I couldn’t wait for the new Hexmat having used the Eclipse for a while but as one dealer said to me the new Hexmat pricing is ambitious it wouldn’t the word I would use!

Hi Paul , I must admit that generally I take reviews with a pinch of salt.However , your review of the Origin Live 1 mm thick slip mat was spot on and gave me faith again of influencers in the Hifi industries.
I opened my hi fi wallet and the main ths flew out and telephoned James at Origin Live and placed my order and waited for my order to arrive. The following day the post man appeared with my new toy and what a toy it is,
My deck is a Rega P3 2016 that is fully serviced , new belt , new Nd 5 cartridge, power supply and Rega Phono mini and all cables are manufactured by QED.
For my comments let’s say the front end of my system is a reasonable but the other improvement provided by the Origin Live player mat are : improved detail , better separation , tighter base and the list could go on.
Again I would like to thank for you improving my system for little money and for driving my wife mad because she is now listening to the records !

I am an ardent watcher of your videos, but you cost me too much money! lol. because of you I have the Gravity one (now sold) the strata mat and now the new gravity 2 which is a massive improvement over the one. the midrange is bonkers! I even wrote a review for OL for their files. it’s so good. can’t wait to hear your thoughts. many thanks for the awesome channel.
