Chord Company has chosen its 40^th anniversary year to launch its first-ever amplifier, the Audio Odourizer 3000, the world’s first hi-fi ‘scent amp’ featuring proprietary ScentARAY technology.  

Scents sense is often overlooked by audiophiles, so Chord Company’s technicians conceptualised the Audio Odourizer 3000, a revolutionary device that syncs with the music to release ‘audiophile-grade’ aromas, enhancing the listening experience with fragrance as multidimensional and the musical landscape itself.

The Audio Odourizer 3000 is a sleek, matte-black tower, standing 18 inches tall, with glowing LED vents that pulse and ooze in time with the music programme. It pairs via Bluetooth to hi-fi systems and uses in-house AI-powered ‘ScentARAY’ technology to analyse audio frequencies, releasing custom scents from its refillable cartridges.

Imagine: a deep bass drop in your techno track unleashes a whiff of amyl nitrate, new shoe leather and hair gel, while a classical violin solo generates a waft of rose petals, vintage wine and Battenburg cake. For metal fans, the unmistakable miasma of teenage bedroom with a dash of snakebite and 1970’s bus seats.
