A collaboration with Danish studio NORM Architects, the frame is available in natural aluminium, bronze tone aluminium or smoked oak and comes with 11 custom designed speaker drivers
Each driver in the Beosound Stage is looked after by a 50W amplifier, resulting in a 3-channel, fully active, DSP-based loudspeaker.
The centre channel drivers include four 102mm drivers. The mid frequencies of the centre channel are handled by two 38mm drivers along with a 19mm dome tweeter.. The left and right sides of the speaker are aimed at creating a 3D sound effect.
A 38mm midrange and a 19mm tweeter at each side, are placed close together at a 45-degrees off axis angle.
Beosound Stage features Dolby Atmos and comes with different listening modes: TV, Music, Movie, Night Listening or None. You can then fine-tune using ToneTouch, Bang & Olufsen’s equaliser. The soundbar is compatible with Chromecast built-in, Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth.
Available from late Autumn 2019. Aluminium and Bronze Tone (£1,250) are available online, in Bang & Olufsen stores and selected John Lewis stores. Beosound Stage Smoked Oak (£1,900) is available in Bang & Olufsen stores exclusively.
