Astell&Kern has introduced two new portable player series: the A&norma standard and A&futura premium ranges
The A&futura SE100is equipped with a Sabre ES9038Pro DAC. The SE100 can handle up to 32bit/384kHz PCM audio and can play Quad DSD natively.
The SE100 features an aluminum alloy and produces 4.1 Vrms (balanced output) from its built-in amp only and features an Octa-core CPU, 127mm touch screen, 128GB internal storage, support for fast charging and up to 10 hours of music play.
The SR15 uses the Cirrus Logic CS43198 and features a Quad-core CPU. The A&norma SR15 can play back up to 24bit/192kHz PCM audio and DSD natively. All of these features are packaged in a solid aluminum alloy body that resembles the AK70 series.
The A&futura SE100 is $1,699 and the A&norma SR15 $699.
