The new model uses a variety of new technologies developed since the introduction of the Evolution Series. And they are? To begin, there’s the M-eVOL2 volume control, with a healthy 530 steps, allowing for precise level adjustment just like the 850P preamplifier.

Next are the Moon output transistors, specifically designed for use in its amplifiers, included to improve performance. Thirdly, an input stage circuit “…reduces noise, preserving image focus and integrity…” said the company.

The design retains the “no overall feedback” amplification circuitry, SimLink and M-Lock, as well as both RS-232 and IR ports for custom-install environments. Weighing in at 21kg, it spans 48 x 10 x 46cm.

Finishes include black, silver, a two-tone combination of both and custom finishes. Price will be £6,900. When more images are available, I’ll post a new notification.
