LUNA SERIES FROM AMR

From AMR (Abbingdon Music Research) and in collaboration with engineer John Curl, the Luna Series comprises the Luna Ingenii DAC, Luna Medii preamplifier and Luna Procellarum monoblock power amplifier

The Luna Procellarum, says the compay, is the world’s-first 4-Quadrant fully balanced FET Amplifier. 

The Ingenii adds two TDA1541A DACs plus eight AD1862 DACs with over 700 supporting components plus a proprietary 128-stage discrete Direct DSD Stonehenge Engine.

Meanwhile, the Medii uses volume control topology with no potentiometer, stepped attenuator or volume IC in the signal path.

Electrically isolated from the AC mains, with battery-like low-impedance energy delivery and active noise cancellation, silver wiring, Audio Note Silver Tantalum resistors, custom Teflon capacitors, Exicon lateral MOSFETs, WBT NextGen silver connectors and hand-matched NOS tubes are used throughout.

Production will be limited to 176 Ingenii DACs, 186 Medii preamplifiers, and 148 pairs of Procellarum monoblocks, with AMR committing to lifetime service and support for every owner.

Pricing is available on request. So…it won’t be cheap then.
