HEAD BOXES FROM PRO-JECT

The DS3 B and S3 B headphone amplifiers are the first models in a refreshed generation from Pro-Ject

Both models use fully balanced circuitry, not just balanced connectors.

The new amps offer balanced headphone outputs via 4.4mm Pentaconn and XLR, plus line-level inputs via RCA and XLR, so you can easily connect a wide range of source devices and set-ups.

The Head Box S3 B delivers up to 820mW into 30 ohms – enough to drive most headphones.

The Head Box DS3 B supplies up to 1.5W into 30 ohms, providing extra headroom for harder-to-drive or low-sensitivity headphones.

Both models are housed in all-metal enclosures and are built in the EU. 

The Head Box S3 B (£329) and DS3 B (£629) are available in black or silver finishes and can be purchased in the UK this month through Pro‑Ject’s dealer network.
