GRYPHON 40 INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER

Inspired by the Danish company’s own Diablo 333, the limited-edition Gryphon 40 (yes, another industry anniversary, 40 years in business for Gryphon Audio) is a commemoration of sorts

The chassis itself is resplendent in reminders of the fact. 

What this amplifier actually offers in tech terms is apparently secret because the company didn’t offer much information on that score. Which is odd.

Even so, you can see that there’s four pairs of single-ended RCAs on this chassis including a tape loop which is nice to see and a sub out plus a couple of balanced pairs too. 

There’s also a couple of bays for optional modules – I assume you buy those separately or pay more for those bundled extra features? 

You can also see, from the rear, that the internal set up is based on a dual mono design. 

What we do know is that each amplifier arrives with an anniversary presentation package, including: a luxury leather-bound owner’s manual, a personal 40th Anniversary letter from founder, Flemming E. Rasmussen and a hand-signed sketch of an original design concept by Rasmussen. 

The box is available from 31 December 2025 for a very warm £27,995.
