RC1 Remote Control For Bluesound
8th November 2019
Bluesound has announced the availability of a new remote control called the RC1. The accessory, which will be sold separately from players. It gives users of Bluesound’s Gen 2 and Gen 2i products access to the most commonly used playback controls like track forward and backward, volume up and down, play and pause, as well as up to 10 custom presets
Unlike other IR remote controls that require programming and set-up, the RC1 is designed to work straight out of the box with any Gen 2 or Gen 2i Bluesound player.
Unless a user wants to assign functions to the two programmable buttons on the device.
As well, the RC1 will work with BluOS Enabled products from sister brand, NAD Electronics.
Including the Masters M50.2 Digital Music Player, Masters M10 BluOS Streaming Amplifier, C 658 BluOS Streaming DAC (coming soon).
Plus a number of products from the Custom Install line.
BluOS Enabled products are those with BluOS built-in, while BluOS Ready products are those with BluOS added through NAD Electronics’ future-proof Modular Design Concept (MDC).
Bluesound’s RC1 will be available in a matte black finish from 1 December at £49.

Before I got to the end I was guessing this would be ¬£30… a tad overpriced for me as a Bluesound Node 2 owner.
