Queen’s Award for enterprise 2018 To Tellurium Q
24th April 2018
Tellurium Q is, “delighted and honoured” to announce that it has received the Queen’s Award for enterprise 2018
The award has been given in, “…recognition of outstanding export growth over the last three years.”
The UK’s highest accolade for business success, Tellurium Q cables are now in 37 countries after a period of only nine years. Impressive stuff.
The award is current for a period of five years while the company can look forward to being invited to a Royal reception (cucumber sandwiches an option, I reckon) and presented with the award by one of The Queen’s representatives, a Lord-Lieutenant.
Next? the cable outfit will be able to fly The Queen’s Award flag at its main office and use the emblem on marketing materials: so look out for that.
Previous winners have included Ford and Jaguar, Marconi and the Rank Organisation (ask your Dad), EMI (RIP), Marks & Spencer and the engineering outfit Balfour Beatty. Pretty good company.
I’m also pretty sure that there’s a commemorative crystal bowl on the way. So, that’s next month’s fruit storage problem solved then.
