OBI3: KANTO AUDIO’S FIRST TURNTABLE

Canadian outfit, Kanto, known – at least to myself – for its powered speaker line up,  has announced the Obi3, a twin-speed, belt-drive turntable

This new releases packs in a built-in phono amplifier, Bluetooth 5.3 and an Audio-Technica AT3600L cartridge hanging off a J-shaped arm.

The platter is made from aluminium, the plinth is MDF while you get pitch control so you can mess around with Bob Dylan’s vocal, late at night after you’ve had too many Piña coladas.

Available in black, white and green, the turntable spans 400 x 355 x 94mm. Each unit ships with a dustcover, slip mat and 45 adapter.

Kanto promises to release more turntables in the future. 

The Obi3 is priced at $199/£179 and launches in November 2025.
