Mr Rigby / Audiophile Man (new posable action figure due in shops before Christmas?!)… Love the site, your YT videos are thoughtful and thought-provoking, despite leading me to spend just a little bit more than I really expected to on the recommendations (for example, the Soundeck Mini Feet turned into an order for 9 and several very friendly emails back and forth – lovely people, good product indeed!). A very quick question for you – without going to the expense of finding / buying a High End Novum brass ‘gong’, have you had any experiences with using a cymbal as a resonant entity (!) in the listening room? And, if so, would you care to share them? Thank you in advance.
I hope to have the posable figure ready as a replacement YouTube presenter in a couple of month’s time so I can go back to bed, Dickon. And Thanks for your kind words. The only resonant entity I’ve had in my living room is my wife who was grooving to Portishead on CD, recently. Which lead me to run to my resting turntable to prevent the tonearm flying off its cradle.
