Do you think audiophiles are somewhat less intelligent than average?
Having watched the video I thought that the box was doing exactly what it said on the tin – the label on the back said CD Player – if the DAC card wasn’t in there would they change it for a different label? What happens if you buy the transport and then want to upgrade later? A new label or a bit of nifty work with a sharpie?
I wonder if the original idea was to produce a CD player and then someone thought, “Hey lads? Here’s an idea…” purely a guess, of course but you never know 🙂
