The Direkt 800 BT speaker is a Bluetooth-enabled, stereo speaker system with in-built amplification – it also includes a MM phono stage

Weighing in at 8.6kg and spanning 480 x 320 x 228 mm, the Direkt 800 BT is a 2-way stereo system with paper-based 127mm mid/bass units and 25mm fabric domes with down-firing bass reflex ports. 

Streaming is taken care of via Bluetooth and the aptX facility through its 200W amplifier, controlled by a remote (a front-mounted LED supplies a visual response).

The rear of the unit includes phono inputs, aux in, sub out, a phono/line switch, optical and coax digital inputs (up to 24bit/192kHz), a power switch and power socket. 

Underneath, the unit features resonance absorbing feet on three points.

Available in white with silver bits or black, the new system, contained in a MDF chassis, is priced at £599.95.
