Darlite extends Sonos to Bluetooth use

Darlite supports Bluetooth, AirPlay, DLNA and Audio line-in 3.5mm jack

You can play music directly from any Bluetooth, AirPlay or DLNA compatible computer, tablet or phone – even if the device/OS is unsupported by Sonos.

Sonos is not compatible with numerous popular favorites such as Youtube, Audible, BBC iPlayer, etc. Darlite fixes this, allowing you to play all your favourite music, news, podcasts, audio books and videos directly from apps through your Sonos system even without a Premium account. Darlite also connects to any external device via the 3.5 mm audio in line connection.

You can enhance your Sonos system with Darlite’s customisation options. Create the mood you want by selecting light intensity, colour patterns and rhythm. The music also reacts with lights. Activate the Dynamic Mode and synchronise the lights with your music. Millions of colours follow the rhythm.

Docked to a PLAY:1 or in a standalone mode, Darlite is compatible with most PLAY:1 mounts and stands with its standard 1/4”-20 threaded mounting socket. It will also be available in two colours, white and black, to match the tone of the Sonos speakers.

Darlite connects via Ethernet on the router or any Sonos device and works as a hub for the entire network. No matter where Darlite is located in your home, it will be available to use with all the Sonos speakers.  It can also be used without a router via Bluetooth if only 4G or public WiFi access are available.
