B.amp Power Amplifier From B.audio 

The B.amp is a class AB bridgeable power amplifier, which has been engineered to be used in stereo mode while being, “…primarily a fully symmetrical monoblock.”

The output transistors operate in Class AB while the company’s Intelligent Output Drive (IOD) technology, makes use of local feedback to, “…eliminate the associated crossover distortion,” said the company. All other stages operate in pure Class A, including the driver part of the output stage.

Designed by Olivier Hess, the chassis’ front panel features CNC-machined micro-blasted aluminium. Hyperbolic feet are also present on the B.amp.

The brand was founded by two brothers, Cédric and Sébastien Bermann and has been in operation since 2016. Handmade in Mutzig, near Strasbourg, the assembly of the electronic boards as well as the housing components are carried out locally by partner companies. Spanning 450 x 385 x 112mm, it weighs 20kg and offers 120W or 300W in bridged mode. Price is €14,900.
