Yamaha MusicCast multi-channel receivers RX-V583 and RX-V683

The new Yamaha MusicCast 7.2 multi-channel receivers RX-V583 and RX-V683 offer connected sources in every room while each signal from the MusicCast network can be played back in the living room as well

In addition, Wi-Fi can be used to stream your music library from Mac, PC or NAS. Both multi-channel receivers are compatible with FLAC and WAV at 24bit/192 kHz, DSD (2.8 MHz/5.6 MHz) as well as Apple Lossless. Apple Airplay is also supported, allowing playback from mobile devices via Bluetooth. All common streaming services including Spotify, Napster, Tidal, Deezer, Quboz and JUKE are available as well via 7.2 or 5.2.2 with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.

The new receivers are compatible with both HDR and the new standard Dolby Vision and support 4K Ultra-HD. Four HDMI inputs of the latest generation are available for the RX-V583 and six for the RX-V683. Apple TV and Fire TV Stick can be hooked up directly to the receiver too.

The RX-V683 offers a phono input for vinyl enthusiasts. In addition, it can transmit the signal of the record player to every room in the house using MusicCast.

In addition to the remote, you can operate the RX-V583 and RX-V683 via smartphone or tablet using the free AV Controller App for Android and iOS. Prices are £TBC.
