Seventh generation Silver Series From Monitor Audio

First released in 1999, the new 7G Silver Series iteration is available in high-gloss black lacquer, satin white or a choice of three real-wood veneers: Ash, Natural Walnut and Black Oak

The series includes the Silver 50 7G and Silver 100 7G bookshelf/standmount speakers, the Silver 200 7G, Silver 300 7G and Silver 500 7G floorstanders, to the home cinema-specific Silver C250 7G centre channel, Silver FX 7G rear surround speakers and Silver AMS 7G Dolby Atmos-enabled speaker.

Technically, there’s a new C-CAM gold dome tweeter design with a new magnet structure and rear chamber, with a new Uniform Dispersion Waveguide II.

Silver 200 7G

There’s also a new RST II (Rigid Surface Technology) mid-range and mid/bass drivers that feature a more rigid profile with its new hexagonal dimpled structure. There’s even a new crossover design.

Silver 300 7G

Aesthetically, the seventh generation Silver Series features new driver trims. Every floorstander is supplied with outrigger feet with spun metal trims for carpeted or hard floors. There’s new magnetic grilles too.
