S800 CD player From Mitchell & Johnson

The S800 is based upon the ESS Sabre DAC chip, optimised for 44.1kHz replay apparently. Also, alongside the RCA outs are balanced XLR outputs.

The S800 features a solid aluminium fascia panel, a European-sourced CD drive and a linear power supply with a Noratel Xtraquiet transformer included.

Connectivity options include both balanced and unbalanced outputs plus Mitchell & Johnson’s 12-volt Power Link for synchronised power on/off when used with compatible partnering equipment.

The S800 CD player is available now in satin black or satin silver priced at £1,299.
