The new twin-speed Prelude turntable includes a stainless steel bearing in a soft bronze bushing. Supplied with the turntable is a pre-fitted Ortofon 2M Red cartridge as well as an acrylic lid

The MDF plinth is covered by eight layers of lacquer while the motor is a free-standing design with, reportedly, no connection to the board.

A lightweight, carbon tonearm tube, cast in a single piece is included while the, “…mass bearing block behaves like an energy sink for all resonances from the cartridge, as well as the low frequencies from the deck,” said the company.

The Prelude turntable weighs 5.5kg, is out in March 2019 and is priced at £999.
