Mitchell & Johnson is no more, the company has decided to close its doors and end operations “with immediate effect” as a result of, “… unprecedented consumer confidence challenges pre-Brexit…”

The company announced on 13 September 2019 that,It is with great sadness that we announce the decision, which follows our significant investment transitioning from Far Eastern to British manufacturing, at a time of unprecedented decline in consumer confidence and spending, due to ongoing Brexit uncertainty.”

The S800 was only announced at the end of June 2019 – presumably it will not now be released

Mitchell & Johnson launched in 2012 and were “proud” to offer “British designed and engineered products,” following a commitment to UK manufacturing in late 2018.
