Marantz NR1607 Slim Design Receiver with dolby atmos

Marantz has announced the NR1607 Slim Design Receiver – for space-conscious home theatre enthusiasts. Why is it resident as a news release here? Well, there are a few intriguing audio additions.  It features high current discrete power transistors on all seven channels, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, with dual antennas and dual band supply for a robust connection (even in Wi-Fi crowded areas), support for AirPlay or Spotify Connect, Internet Radio, local network storage drive access and a bit more.

The NR1607 comes with Dolby Atmos with a future firmware update offering the NR1607 DTS:X soundtrack decoding.

While we’re here, let’s talk about video, supporting 4K Ultra HD along with the latest HDMI specification including 4K 50/60Hz pass-through and HDCP 2.2 compatibility. It also features HDR (High Dynamic Range) and Wide Colour Gamut compatibility, key components of the BT.2020 4K Ultra HD video specification. There are eight HDMI inputs including one located on the front panel, all of which support HDCP 2.2 compatibility.

The NR1607 upscales analogue and digital source material up to Full HD 1080p or even 4K Ultra HD.

The Marantz NR1607 will be available in black or silver-gold colour finish. Price is £599.
