SOUND & VISION 2017 SHOW REPORT: MARK AUDIO SOTA/KJF AUDIO

4th March 2017

Company: Mark Audio SOTA/KJF audio

Product: Alpair Wideband speaker drivers

In this report, Director of KJF Audio, Stefan Whatcott (who supplies OEM outfits and DIY speaker builders with speaker drivers) talks about the Mark Audio wideband drivers and emphasises that they produce a lot of excursion and, hence, bass for such a small unit.

Whatcott refers to Pearl Acoustics within the interview. That company can be found HERE.

One of the customers who buy the above speaker units is Out of the Woodwork. It provides musical reproduction for bars, restaurants and other commercial properties. It’s own Timbre project aims to create a coherent system that is capable of filling a room or rooms with sound that covers the whole spectrum, while playing loud enough to be heard but at a volume and balance that enhances the atmosphere.
