Equator Integra Interconnect From Atlas Cables

3rd March 2018

Atlas Cables has introduced the Equator Integra utilising ultra-pure OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) copper

For its Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC) 5N (99.999% copper technology, each strand is ‘pulled’ from a single copper crystal, enabling, “…electrical signals to flow with the least deletions,” said the company.

A co-ax design, Equator Integra uses 60 stands of OCC copper to create its signal conductor, which is enclosed in gas-foamed PEF (Foamed Polyethylene).

To prevent any RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) the dielectric is encased within a double screen. The cable is finished with a pearl white outer jacket.

The Equator Integra is fitted with Atlas’ proprietary Integra non-magnetic RCA plugs with a solder-free, cold-weld connection. Each Integra plug features gold-plated conjugate brackets, which spring open on insertion and “wipe clean” the signal path. The Equator Integra is hand-built at the company’s factory in Scotland.
